Anonymous asked: Marvel's concern for including diversity in its comics, be it on gender, sexuality, ethnie, religion, anything, really, can only be applauded. It strikes me as odd, then, that we have yet to see any asexual characters in the books (and I'm talking about asexuality as a sexual orientation here, of course, not like bacteria). Many established characters could fit that category, but none has come out yet. Why do you think that's the case? Could we hope to see an asexual character show up soon?
I’d have to say that this is likely because awareness of asexuality is something that’s just beginning to get onto the radar of the public consciousness. It’s the sort of thing where I’m confident that at some point somebody will do a story about it, whether with an established character or a new one.
